Hey all!
Anyone have some ideas for increasing engagement from the scientists and engineers I work with to make sure they are recording their data in their data management plans.
You may consider making this a requirement in their data management plan, however if you don’t have a ‘stick’, offering a ‘carrot’ that detailed data providence could lead to more collaboration possibilities in the future. If they are seen as someone who produces quality data products with detailed metadata records, not only would it look good on them but your organization as well.
Anyone else have additional thoughts on how to increase engagement with folks around data management plans?
